What knife would you guys be really excited to give or receive as a gift for X-mas in the $100 to 150 range? I'm having trouble deciding on something for my younger sisters.

Some considerations so far have been;

Spyderco Kris
Benchmade silver 960 or a 943

I want something that'll really WOW them.

What do you guys suggest?

Benchmade Shoki maybe...$126 at Knifeworks.com

Also, there are a bunch of really nice Lone Wolf models in that price range.

+1 Pink Benchmade Griptillian. Not that I would carry one. Lol. I was just checking out some Paul knives made by Lone Wolf. $109.99. Probably something I would pocket carry. They look pretty cool. -DT

consider nothing other than the Benchmade 94X (940 or 943). If you have the dough to throw around you are on the right track. I recommend you avoid further malarky and go for your generously forethought 94X.

Can you tactfully insert the word 'Malarky' in your next video review? :p

My gf just bought me the BM 940. I chose the knife after much research on blades and time spent in this forum. I must say that its an all-around good knife. I'm sure your sisters will love it. It's a super sharp knife though. So I hope you trained them well which I'm sure you have:).

What would I be most excited to recieve? BM 710 McHenry and Williams. For them, +1 on pink grip. Or something from spyderco, they make excellent stuff.

A spyderco caly 3 with ZDP and carbon fiber would be my choice. Its just above your price range and a extremely nice knife.

If it's for giving to your younger sisters, I wouldn't assume that they share your passion for knives (saying, "that one looks nice" doesn't mean passion)...

If it's to specify a possible gift you'd love to receive, I do think that several Mcusta models come to mind as they are amongst the most suave on the market.

Knives in that price range that WOW people receiving them as gifts (especially if not used to high-quality cutlery):

- Zero Tolerance 0200
- Benchmade Rukus
- Benchmade Kulgera
- Spyderco Military
- Kershaw Junkyard Dog II SG2/Titanium
- Benchmade Osborne Gaucho M4 ou 710-M4.
- Benchmade Nitrous Striker
- Spyderco Captain or Caly 3
- Spyderco Volpe

2.5" Blade Kopa,
3" blade Persian, Caly3
3.5" blade Volpe

All of them look great, great ergos, great cutters

For my sister, I got her a Kershaw rainbow leek for Christmas.
She also loves her black boron and gold leek.

Most girls like sleek, shiny stuff--get some rainbow for them, and it won't break the bank too! (~$50 online)
