I must say, ive had alot of different kinds of knives overs the years, but none ever had the fit or finish that my new sebenza does. Im new to the forums so i wonder if anyone else ever noticed the amazing and perfect fit and finish. How does this guy chris reeve get such perfect fit? Ive had knives that were nice before but , ive never seen anything like this sebenza.

Hello Woodsman! You will soon see that there are MANY her who share your admiraton of Mr. Reeve's craftsmanship. Glad you like your Sebbie. Be careful, though-- they seem to have the tendency to multiply!

Peace.

...I believe you'll find a couple of CRK fans here!:D
Welcome to BFC and congrats on your obvious GOOD taste!!

sweet knives, eh? I just bought two more this week!  :D

I have 12 sebbies in my collection. I keep hoping if I keep them all together they will start to breed and I won't have to spend any more $$$ on my favorite maker!

I heard that the fit and finish is applied by some folks that have little wands and some kinda special dust. :p :D

Actually. . . .there are a lot of factors that are contributed to CRK's fit and finish (on all of their knives). I like these: attention to detail, market (customer) orientation and an exceptional QA / QC program. :)

But that just me. :D

Congrats!! I hope you enjoy it for many years to come. What's going to be your next CRK purchase? ;)

I've been lurking here so long I already feel like a part of the family! I only have five Sebbies, though.

Glad to be a part!!!

Thanks!

I almost had my fifth, but Bladeart sold the damn Spear through Grass Umfaan I wanted!

Yes! A CR owner for years, but with a Sebbie for only a couple of months now.
The most expensive knife I've ever owned..also the very best.

My large Classic has far exceeded my expectations and requirements.

The Moon Song themed sheath from Vess sets it apart from other CRs.

It started for me with an Aviator, then a small Lefty classic Sebbie, then a Project 1, then a Large conventional lefty Sebbie, then a 5.5" Green Beret!

Yesterday I received a small lefty BG-42 classic..next?

Warning! Reeves knives are extremly habit forming!! :D

That reminds me what has happened to me: Started with a project 1 then a large regular Seb. then a Shadow 4 then two large classic Seb.

Next should be a small Seb... ;)

Shann and Vt. Woodsman,
Good to see some folks from my neck of the woods checking in. I'm originally from around the Keene, N.H. region, but I used to run XC meets in Rutland, BF etc.. going to school in NC now, where there are very few Yankees. VT Woodsman, for that small knife I highly recommend the Aviator, or if you could afford one, get the limited model Aviator 5.5 with the larger blade, I think TAD might still have a few. The regular versions are small enough to make a great edc, and the saw actually functions quite well, although it's not perfect. Wish I'd seen this thread a week ago, I just sold mine for a reasonable price to another forumite. Good luck with it.

I have a Lg Classic and I am gathering funds to try and get a Lg Woodie.
They do have the best fit and finish out there.
