I want to throw my latest up here in hopes of getting some feedback.

This is my first liner lock folder that I made for a charity raffle on another forum.

Blade, bolsters, and backbar are made from Chad Nichols Lizzard Skin carbon damascus. Liners are titanium and scales are Desert Ironwood.

The liners were provided by GLWJ but the profile was mod-ed to fit my taste for a gents folder. I also modified the design to be a front flipper and stippled the flipper and lockbar.

All comments, critiques, and suggestions are greatly appreciated !

Thanks alot, Josh :D

Very nice folder.

2 little points of critique: I think it would look nicer if you used smaller screws, and if the screws of the bolsters would be lined up with the pivot screw. Or if you hid the pivot screw.

Kind regards,

Jos

Jos,

There were sevaral things that I would have definately done differently if making this folder completely from scratch. The allignment of the bolster and pivot screws being the big one, LOL. The liners came with holes spotted for these screws so minor adjustmentents were out of the question.

Being a relative newbie with about a year in making from scratch I did have to aquire some of the tools needed for this build. Bits, reamers, countersinks, etc. I got to the point where I needed to finish the knife with what I had on hand to work with so I went the way I did. I really would have preferred to make the 2 bolster screws blind from the back side but I did not have a bottoming tap :(

Thank you very much for the honesty and critique ! It does re-affirm in my mind that what I was thinking was on track and would have been appreciated if carried out

Great look, great materials, but I would like to see the screws lined up. But I like the size of the screws
