Here is a really nice pair by Mr. Nick.

Damn! That bowie is so simple, yet sooooooooooo sweet! Nick's hunters are also just about as fine as imaginable.

Both are beautiful knives. That Bowie though seems to really show off the idea of simple elegance to me at least.

Can't wait to see his work first hand at Blade in a couple of weeks.

Sean, you'd better make a beeline for Nick's table early. His knives have a way of disappearing pretty fast.

Blademan,
You don't recognize that bowie? You've held it in your hands, my friend.

I'll give you a hint - it once shared some table space with a fighter you might also remember.

Yeah, what he said. :)

Wulf,

Sure do remember it. Also remember a story behind it ;)

I certainly remember that Fighter. To this day it remains one of my all time favorites. Just too bad it isn't my knife :( (thanks for that little poke!)

Ya I'm sure his stuff goes pretty quick. Will have to try to get to his table before the show actually opens to have a chance at seeing anything.

Be careful, don't get too many fingerprints on the big integral bowie on that table.

Wheeler... Why do I know that name?!?! :p

It's at times like these I almost envy all you Eastern Seaborders... so many makers there and so many shows.. Kinda like a magnet, y'all even suck the Best of the Northwest away from us for y'all's shows... ya lucky knutts! LOL!!!

But that's okay... Nick is just getting better and it's only fair that we let him travel back there and let him pedal his practice blades on y'all so we can keep the good stuff here! LOL!!!!! :p

And since I like to walk the talk... (and since I already posted 'em,) here's the link!

But in all seriousness... Hey guys, those are two beauts and I truly envy y'all this year 'cause Nick couldn't make it to the OKCA show this year - I really missed seeing his work and didn't get a chance to talk at him as in years past... So y'all can just color me jealous! :D

Thanks guys, you're all too kind!

That bowie was on my table at my very first Blade show.

In a couple weeks I will have 5 on my table, that hopefully will get my my Js stamp.

I am excited about the Blade show!!! :D

Very nice combo Peter, but I think you need to get Nick to make you a carbon steel hunter to match that bowie and a damscus bowie to match that hunter. :p

There have only been a few folks that I have ordered M.S. test daggers from before they obtained their J.S. stamps. Nick is one of them. Jason Knight is the other that comes to mind as far as recent ones..

To top it off, knives aside, Nick is a good dude.

Tough to beat that combination. :D (I know I sound like a friggin' broken record.)
