Hello, I was wondering what percentage of nickel is in nickel silver. I did some research,which was a bit difficult seconday to most suppliers either dont know or dont disclose the percentage. In my research I did find that the highest grade percentage is approx 17-18% versus the "more common" and avialable nickel silver to be approx 12%-but that info was general.
If anyone has a more definitive answer as to the percentage of nickle in the commonly sold nickel silver from most suppliers that would be nice--Thanks-Marekz

Yes there is commonly 18% nickel in nickel silver.
Sounds like you need to go further up the food chain. I usually don't buy unless I get specs.

Yes 18% nickel is what I purchase . The price variation with some sheet stock can vary greatly , except for a few places, I did not find percentages to distinguish between pricing. Thanks -Marekz
