nickle silver pocket knife pin material?

I'm trying to find a source for nickle silver pin material for repairing old pocket knives. Many of the old knives do not have standard sizes like 1/8 inch. Or 1/16 inch.. Does anyone have a source?

I don't know where you can get "odd" sizes in nickel silver but K&G has 1/16, 3/32,1/8 sizes...and for nickel silver espc. 1/16 and 3/32 prices ar OK.

probably will need to buy standard sizes and mill or sand to the size you need.

As to stainless (416) pin material it is hard to beat www.TruGrit.com if you are buying any quantity...

Stainless steel pin material would not be acceptable when restoring a antique pocket knife of any kind, no matter how superior stainless steel might be.

If you need metric sizes, they are easy to find in Europe.

You can buy an inexpensive draw plate from riogrande.com or other suppliers and draw any commercial wire to the thickness you desire.link to inexpensive draw plate,probably made in India but would fill your needs.
