NickNuk for EDC. Are they considered "knuckles"

I luckily was able to grab a stonewashed NickNuk during his last sale. Those of you who are familiar with them, do you think they are considered "knuckles"? I live in PA where brass knuckles are illegal. I think he technically calls them a self defense impact weapon. Thought would be greatly appreciated!!
