HOGS---What fer handle material is on the NICK? I WANT the Ultimate kitchen knife! Do you think there will be another run? A rounder belly, would be nice. :)

The thin NICKs have black paper and the XXX NICK has black canvas I think, I'd have to go look for sure.

:D

thats right. and rope cut too.

dont hold your breath atleast not at the original price--I bet

Thanks, Randucci! I was sharpening my Boker Yadama yesterday and I thought about what Jerry said regarding the steel chipping out on the edge of a knife. Then it hit me---INFI kitchen knife! Boy, it took me TOO long to figure that one out! Thanks!

XXXL-BLK CANVAS
THIN-BLK PAPER

Here is a stash I stumbled upon...
Darn nicks popping up everywhere..:thumbdn:

they're kinda slippery, the black paper slabs. I had to sand mind down with 60 grit sand paper, and after that it was a lot nicer, more grippy.

No need to check - dat iz correct!

Love my thin NICK. Can't believe I sold my thick for as "cheap" as I did. People were shocked at my price (considering what it originally sold for) but then they went for $200 more than that just a few months later.

I think it's the only black-paper knife I have or have had.

HEHEHEHEH, I got a used pair for $300!

Braggart.

For a long time, I desperately wanted a NICK. Then I realized that they were ground for right-handed people and I lost interest. The XXXLs are ambidextrous, however.

So's the NICK Fighter....

The NICKS are chisel ground??

Only the thin Nick is chisel ground... sooooooo sharp... its scary..

The down side is the edge can roll and dent pretty easy..

not to mention that blade is only .09" thick... Pretty sure its the thinnest Busse ever created

only 14" long? For some reason I was expecting it to be closer to 17". I'm having trouble figuring out which one would fit my FBMLE plus others.
