100_3932.jpg I just finished this one this evening for one of the top Master Smiths. It is Russet Wickett & Craig 7/8oz with a 2oz lining of the same leather. Done with an inlay of Nicotine Elephant that is really spectacular, and topped off with a little decorative tooling.

It's a pretty good size knife at 14 3/8" OAL with a 9 3/8" blade. Some really pretty Ivory in that handle. The darker oiled areas around the inlay window are very fresh and it will level out over night be be pretty much one color.

Beautiful work as usual Paul. I assume you call the Elephant "nicotine" because of the colour?

Gorgeous Paul, Gorgeous. I've got two sitting on the counter waiting for the oil to level out. Did I mention gorgeous?

Yes, "Nicotine" is the color name. It is very dark brown with lighter brown streaks in the crevices which cannot be seen in the photo.

Beautiful Paul, that's artwork. I like how you set your inlays, smooth transition looks like part of the sheath. The quilt pattern on the chevron sets if off.

Very cool and very nice work as always Paul! I also recently picked up some of that very hide from our mutual exotic supplier friend. Haven't had time to make much from it except this little pocket knife slip. Really nice stuff!

Great sheath Paul. And the knife, which appears to be one of Don's, is beautiful as well.

Is this pocket slip for sale?
