Hiya.
I was wondering if anyone can share any more info about these knives;
mostly where could I start searching for them (note: they are made in mid
90's), but also if anyone has additional pictures, designs/variations not
presented here, reviews, suggestions considering who could I address my
questions to, or anything else.
All I have ever found were some low-resolution spec sheats on Internet and
one catalog at local retailer from Croatia (dated 1997). Although the lady in
that store wouldn't sell or lend me that catalog for scans, she was kind
enough to alow me taking photos:
Now, I would really wish to know how many different knives would make
absolutely complete collection. There are six basic designs above (Nieto 1-5
and Artesano) plus four more variations, based on handle material and spacer
combination/color.
I wish it was all that easy. I have found and bought two more variations not
shown here: Artesano with granite handle (btw, what's the actual name for
this material?) and Nieto-5 with silver-colored spacers. So I believe there
might be more.
Oh, and btw, these knives were distributed in US by United Cutlery. I have
found this ancient page:
Thanks!
