Nighthawk in lieu of a KaBar?

What say you to that? Think the Nighthawk could take the abuse? I've carried my KaBar since the Marine Corps as a field knife and I'm playing with the idea of changing it out so that I don't loose it do to sentimental value. Thanks in advance.
 
That's a tough call. I like the stacked handle of the Ka-Bar better...but prefer the blade profile on the NightHawk.
Me? I would get a Buck Strider, Ka-Bar, NightHawk...in that order.

Hey...know why even Scrooge loves Rudolf? Cuz every buck is so dear to him.

I have never used a Kabar but have handled them...
I would Go Buck Strider, Nighthawk, Kabar. This is the;) Buck forum :D LOL
I like the nighthawk handle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
I have both and like the blade better on the KBar, the handle better on the Nighthawk. Try one of the new generation K-Bars, they have different steel options, and a nice handle. I have a K-Bar that I carried for 20 years, just a great knive.
