I often use a Mil Surp ALICE pack for weekend excursions. While packing last weekend, I "discovered" that I could rig my Nighthawk easily and securely using a carabiner and the loops on the left side of the pack (the right side would work just as well). It was nice to have the knife within arms reach instead of digging through the pack for it.
I'm sure it's old news for some but it was cool to me!

And I would be remiss if I didn't pose my Nighthawk with some of the weekends work.... pieces were way too big for batoning....
