Anyone have one of the nightstar lights with the new starcore LED?

Is it as tough as nightstar claims?

Is it pretty bright with the new starcore LED?

Also for anyone who hasn't heard of these here is a link, and I ordered the CS model which is the compact version but has the same brightness, I am wanting some owners opinions.

Well, I haven't tried to drive nails with it. Yet. ;) But, it seems to be built quite well. Instead of cheap polystyrene or such, it feels like it's made from polycarbonate, which is damn tough stuff.

Well... you won't ever mistake it for a Surefire. :D

However, in terms of total light output, it throws a lot more light than most cheap LED lights. The beam is like the older Inova X1: a pure, even spot, with no "hot spot" and no side spill. Not very impressive, until you remember that the light comes for free.
