If the Humphrey Whitetail is to small and you are still in the market for a pocketable fixed blade here is another choice. Overall, I really like these knives. The larger grip provides my hands a solid 4 finger grip. For those with larger hands, I wear a medium glove though it is a little long in the fingers, I think this would provide a great three finger grip. The handle is also thicker than the Whitetail and fills the hand with great ergonomics.

Compared to the Whitetail (in Maple)

Comparison to a few others: Left to Right - Humphrey Whitetail x2, Arno Bernard x2 Nikola EDC x2, GL Drew Lightweight x2, Hess Knifeworks Hunter & Tiburon

Just thought I would show these off a bit to anyone interested in his work.

Thanks

How has none commented on this yet? His work looks great Brett.
I really like the comparison shot aha. Shows along the lines your tastes in a pocket fixed blade.
I like the 4 finger grip in comparison to the whitetail which when I finally drew and cut out a 'model' to see how they'd fit would fall just a bit short as I wear a Large-XL glove.
Those polished Hess blades don't look too shabby either ;)

Hope you're enjoying time with the new little'un~

First, congrats Brett!!

Second, you have a nice collection of smaller fixed blades going there. I like those knives by Nikola. They have an old world look to the steel. Also curious about the Arno Bernard's. I always like the way those look also. Looks like they would make a great little hunting companion

They're beautiful Brett, he is a very talented maker. I saw your post when you spoke for them...I like seeing good things happen to good people:cool::thumbup:

That's a beautiful knife Brett! Congrats, and thanks for showing it here. I really like the size and blade shape, and the steel is gorgeous!
I really like smaller FB's, you have a very nice assortment there
