Nimba Anvils still in business?

A couple weeks back I reached out to Nimba about a shipping quote and to buy an anvil. Long story short I've emailed and called a few times and it's been a few weeks and I have not heard anything. The website is up and the voicemail has a message that makes it clear they are open for business; but I've no idea when that message was recorded. In any case I am eager to buy an anvil or to get on a waiting list if necessary. Has anyone had issues trying to contact Nimba? Has anyone had any contact with them in the last year or so? If you have gotten a hold of them how'd you manage it?

Thanks all!

I know Jim, and he's recovering from a surgery. I saw him a few weeks ago and he's back on his feet, and starting to get back in the shop.
I asked him if he was going to be casting any more anvils and he said he would like to, but not sure when, IIRC.
I've been wanting a centurion for years, and was consistently missing catching up with him when he had some and had to buy a kholswa instead when he was going into surgery...
If you're not in a hurry, and haven't heard from them, I plan on seeing him the end of October and I'll inquire. But keep trying him.

Oh lord! I feel like a whole ass...

I had no idea he was in the hospital! Thank you for the info! I'll leave one more message wishing him a good recovery and to let them know I'll be happy to wait however long it takes for him to get back on his feet.

No need to feel bad, there was no way for you to know that, so it could seem that he's just a bad businessman. I will also say that he's part of the generation of smiths that we are losing rapidly these days, so another possible part of the delay in response time is being raised during the time when the term personal computer meant your brain or maybe a pocket calculator.
