Nimcub info

I picked up this little knife recently but I'm struggling to date or find out much about it, where they a popular knife in their day? its NIB and seem pretty rare in the UK.

I would say their use/potential was realized late, seeing how they were discontinued while the full sized Nimravus lives on.
They've grown in popularity recently. They are more easily EDC'd and a little easier to use in finer "camp" style applications when compared to the full size. The full size, as I have observed, usually fills the camp knife. However, I don't believe it fills that role better than the nimcub.

Also, because of it's length, in some states of the United States of America, it can be carried and not considered a deadly weapon.

Cheers guys, I'm pretty chuffed with it, it's ideal, fixed blade Benchmades don't come up to often over here.

No info for you, though I would be interested in some! Just wanted to say what a nice blade it is. Great little EDC fixed blade. Bought mine off the exchange here. They are sort of rare here in the US so I can only imagine how rare they are in the UK!

That's what is cool about the cub. It looks much smaller than the PM2 yet it has the same if not more cutting edge!
