Nimravus alternatives?

Just wondering: Are there some alternatives, in roughl similar price range, to the BM Nimravus. I like the low profile, but was wondering if there are some other good choices, of similar dimensions/designs?

If you can find a Gerber Yari, that would be a better alternative.

It depends on what you want the knife to do. The Nimravus is NOT a camp knife, the 10501 Rant would do much better for that (and at half the cost).

For a small SD fixed blade you could also check out the Spyderco Street Beat (it's a little small, but the same concept).

I presume since you're looking for a similar knife around the same price range that there's something about the Nimravus you don't like?

It's hard to beat the Nimravus. It's true that it's not a camp knife, but it'll do. I've used mine many times and it's a fine user. For tactical use, it's tough to beat.

I would like a satin blade. That's about my only complaint with the Nimravus, plus not too sure if want a Tanto or modiifed Tanto design.

Tactical is what I am getting at, yet something that will not get some people all hyper as I walk down some of the better traveled trails.

Microtech currahee?
Cold steel outdoorsman?
Fallkniven f1?
Tops rangers edge?

Have fun shopping, lots of great options.
