Nimravus Carry Options?

Which options are there to carry a Nimravus with the stock sheath? Does anyone have a pic of the current production stock sheath...I heard the old ones suck and the new ones are better, but I've also heard that isn't saying much.

Does it have to be carried on the belt, or can it be carried inverted around the neck?
