Nimravus / Protagonist

I'm looking to buy either the Nimravus or Protagonist (drop point no serrations).
Side by side their numbers for length, steel etc seem to be basically identical.
They look pretty similar in shape too.
Does anyone have both of these and can give a comparison on them?
Maybe post some side by side "real world" photos, how they feel in hand, anything that stands out from one or the other?
I have pretty big hands (typically XL gloves) so that's an important factor for me too.
So far I'm leaning towards the Nimravus just because of the slightly bigger finger stop, and the tang extending past the handle which is nice for hammering. The Protagonist's handle looks more comfortable though. Is there anything else to consider?
Thanks in advance!

I have an old Nimravus cub. It's a good stout knife that will take a beating, and like it. But looking at the Protagonist, I think the shape of its handle would be more comfortable.

I'm interested in this too. Perhaps someone got a new knife for Christmas and can comment.

From that photo it looks like the Protagonist has a thinner tip because the swedge goes all the way to the tip unlike with the Nimravus.

I just picked up a Nimravus with G10 handle on the exchange after years of keeping my eye open for one at the right price. It's an awesome knife

The new version seems to be less a hard use tool, and more a sporty utility knife. With the swedge, I expect the tip to be a little weaker, and the handle material likely won't be nearly so durable but more comfortable

From a use perspective, the forward curvature of the finger choil on the Nimravus should bring the leading part of the edge slightly closer to your hand, which should provide a little more control for detailed work, while the slight hook at the back of the handle should lock your hand into the grip a little more solidly

To my way of thinking, the Nimravus is a better thought out design, while the Protagonist has a sleeker and nicer look to it

While the protagonists is a nice knife, the handle is just to thin for extended cutting. The Nimravus would be my choice.
