Despite the redundant movie title, not a bad film. It is PURE action and is not encumbered by any moral or romantic sub-plots of any significant degree.
The fighting is not ninjutsu or even close to it, but it is 90 minutes of forget-about-your-job fun.
Some of what's in there IS true, most of it is BS.
It seems clear that whoever wrote it definitely had some Bujinkan influences.
Anyway, if you're in the mood for some real escapism, have a look.

Reality? That would be just about the most disturbing, disgusting thing anybody ever saw..
Movies need to be fun, right?
 
LOL! Sorry Dan,I disagree.Of course...it would shorten the fight scenes to the point people whouldn't see guys taking umteen kicks to the head,knocked down, stomped,cut with weapons...THEN get up AND kick the bad "GUYS"(more than 5)butts(all who are supposedly TRAINED as well as the HERO is)!!THEN he uses special hand signs that heal him!! YEAH RIGHT!!

If the "faces of death" videos are your kind of entertainment, then go for it. Me, I don't need the nightmares. (I already have enough, thank you)
 
Well I personally enjoyed the over the top senseless prolonged violence. :p It's a movie! As dan said, already had enough of that in real life.

Would have preferred a more lighted setting to see the moves, but hey they're ninjas! Ninja Vanish!
