A buddy of mine in the bujinkan has undertaken Bruisleee's Zombie game challenge.
His current best is level 19, 275 zombies dead.

He has offered us these hints:
Shoot down at their feet, the big ones stay still
better and you can rapid fire.

If you use your shotgun empty it quickly so you can
reload in between games. If your shotgun is not
reloaded don't use it again.

Never leave less than three shots in your gun. If
you're left with less empty and reload. Four is
actually a better number.

Remember the real-life gun fighting rule; "he who
throws the most lead wins"

i love that game!! i played it a quite a lot a few months ago and got all the way up to 27. Another hint is to shoot them when they come out of the ground in the head. It will be a one hit kill if you get them as they rise. Let me know if anyone beats my score

i've always thought that they needed a samurai/ninja zombie film... perhaps with the plot line of "town gets over run by zombies. samurai takes on the task of ridding the country side of ever last one of them"

i cant recall a single zombie film that had the main character be a dedicated zombie killer... their always running from them...

The only movie I can think of that even comes close is "Versus"...

Very cheap, it does have guns too... Kinda funny.. Long time since I watched it.

lol - HOWEVER... that was yakuza vs. zombies - sort of.

one of the best zombie moments was in that movie though - where the escaped prisoner shoots one of the gangsters and takes the girl hostage, so obviously all guns from the gangsters are drawn on the escaped prisoner, and heated discussion insues

in the middle of this, the dead gangster stands up - and ever gun, prisoner and gangsters alike swivels at him.

doesnt matter who he is, freind or foe - that just plain shouldnt happen

awesome...

I have this game bookmarked ... go back to it every now and again. I can't get much past level 22ish, and around 200 zombies. 19K?? That is a lot of free time.

Here's the link if anyone's looking ....

Wheelgun Zombie Hunter of Doom

Just remember Danny...it's all about how you move your body. Also...don't even let them know you're armed until it's too late for them to do anything about it.

That is a funny a$$ video.
I wish I had thought of it...
I LOVE the ending where he's on the beach on his knees and looks all tired and exhausted like he'd done some great thing...

Nasty, I am giving you your shodan.
Congratulations.

Thank you Danny...

Now, for my next test...

They are slow...walk away, save the fighting for when it's actually needed.

Interestingly there is such a film. A Japanese live action movie - the English title is "Samurai Armageddon" - with the character Jubei Yagyu vs. undead samurai brought back from the dead by sorcery (including Miyamoto Mushashi!)
