So I went ahead and purchased an Nite Ize eClipse to put on the back of my new Electrician's Apprentice. I was a little worried about the holding power in relation to the textured alox scales....but not to worry, this clip is stuck on their for good. It really works quite well and doesn't look too weird either. I'm very impressed with the locking system....it will absolutely NOT come out of the pocket without pressing on the locking lever....very cool!

I use the clips a lot, and was wondering about putting one on a Solo. Thanks for the info.

I've had a Nite-Ize clip on my phone for well over a year, and on a Vic Spirit and OHT for about four months. I wasn't sure if it would stick to Alox. I'm certainly glad to see your photos! Thanks!

cool!
certainly makes one wonder why victorinox doesn't have such an aftermarket accessory; seeing that there are probably legions of SAK users probably waiting for just such a clip-on solution...

That's nice! I can think of a few places for it. OHT would be good.
It could turn a small neck knife sheath into a pocket sheath.

That looks nice. Personally I would not add a clip on the 91 mm knives and smaller, but for the 111 mm knives it would be a nice option.

I put a black nite-ize clip on my DROID INCREDIBLE thinking it "might" work, lets try it -- I absolutely love it! I've wanted a "knife-style" pocket clip on my phones for a long time now - and this did it. My phone is now secure AND easy to get to.

I attached these on a coupla Cellidor SAKS in the not to distant past and have been totally pleased with the turnout

I went the old school drill and tap method on my alox Pioneer Harvester because of the uncertainty of the Nite Ize securing to the Alox scales---That will change now :D

I also clipped my 111mm Trekker

Where is the cheapest place to buy these gems ???

Probably County Comm if you're willing to put up with their shipping costs:

If not them, you could try Deal Extreme. I'm not sure if what they're selling is real though. Generally things from there tend to be fake. However, all their pictures look spot-on with the product (down to the packaging and color of the adhesive backing!) and these things ARE made in China.

Its been a while but I was wondering how these are holding up after all this time? Thansk Ash

My testimony; I've had an eClipse on my cell phone for several months now and it works great. The self-locking clip holds very securely, releases easily and doesn't chew up my pocket lip like some do. It has gone in and out of my pocket many times every day for months, still looks and performs like new. This is definitely the goods. Although I haven't actually tried an eClipse on a multi-tool or folder, from my experience with the one on my cell I think they would work just fine for most of them.

Personally, I am not a true fan of pocket clips on anything, mostly because I don't like the way they compromise my grip on the handles. However, I can tolerate the deep carry kind, like on the Buck Vantage, and sometimes use the accessory clip for the Charge, also a deep carry design. Those items just snuggle down into my pocket. I've tried others, but they don't seem as secure. Spydercos especially like to jump out of my pocket (when they are not snagged out instead :grumpy: ), no losses, but still :nightmare: !

Unfortunately, I think the manufacturer has discontinued this dandy little device (oh, too soon! :blue: ), but there may still be stocks available.

I've had one of these on a OHT for several months and it works great. I've been thinking of getting a new One Hand Sentinel and putting one on it, since the clips Vic used on theirs are just awful, and the reason why mine disappeared from my pocket on a bike ride.

I've been using a dangler clip on my 111mm saks but just ordered a couple of these nite ize models. The dangler worked OK, but sometimes was an issue like if I was trimming the rose bush the dangler would get caught on a branch and my hand would move forward onto the blade.

Ouch bet that didn't feel to good.
