found a cool use for the nite ize knot bone, on a paracord survival bracelet.

I can't tell much from the photo. What is it and what function is it serving? Is it a clasp? What is its normal function? Any other pics?

i used instead of the buckle clasp, when u take the braclet apart in a survival situation the knot bone serves a purpose where as the buckle is most likely disgarded.
