Well, since I have to hear about almost everything that goes on here anyway, I figured I would just introduce myself. I'm Pete Bruno, Aldo's unfortunate son :D. For all of you who know my pops, well, pray for me. Although I am very excited to get involved in this industry. I've taken over the website and everything else pops would like me to handle, which now looks like this:

As of this morning, all the merchant services to process credit cards, debit cards, e-checks, money orders, checks, PayPal, or even yen are set up. As time moves along, more products and categories will be added, as much as doing spreadsheets makes my eyes bleed. I will occasionally have to close the site down for a few hours to make pricing adjustments, add features, or change things.

The pictures for now are just placeholders. The deal is this: if you e-mail me a photo of a knife made with our steel, listing the type of steel and original width and thickness, those photos will be added for that item. So instead of a stock image of our 1084, if you made some gorgeous piece out of 1084 1/8x 1 1/2" stock, that will show up instead. I can add a few images per item, so don't be discouraged if there's a blade already featured. Just send the photos to theshop@njsteelbaron.com which is my e-mail address dealing with any specialty shipping, website, product, or processing issues and questions. Aldo has a new e-mail as well, thebaron@njsteelbaron.com, and of course the office itself, theoffice@njsteelbaron.com, for ordering and billing and the rest. Oh yea, if you send photos, I'll e-mail you a promo code for either a percentage off your next purchase or a dollar amount off, haven't decided that yet.

Finally, we're trying to make the site as community oriented as possible. We will eventually have a secondary site with a blog, possibly a forum, heat treating schedules, forging and grinding methods, events, and more as time goes on. Thanks for your time and I look forward to working with all of you at some point, perhaps even meeting some of you at Blade 2012 and other events.

Nice, new website looks interesting. I'm sure I'll be ordering more steel in a couple months. Gotta get through my current order first though :) Welcome!
