Hey guys I haven't posted on here much but I follow along pretty regularly. I was in need of a new edc (long story, had to sell off a bunch of stuff including my knives awhile back) so I went to the closest store that sells good blades and picked up a Mini Griptilian 556 to start my collection over. Really nice knife I like it a lot. And I must say, i don't see what the big deal is with the handle scales, I actually kinda like em. Anyway, the knife is great, buttery smooth and hair shaving sharp out of the box, and sits in my pocket wonderfully. But looking it over I noticed the 154cm stamp isn't where I've always seen it, behind the thumb stud. On mine is right above the Mel Pardue stamp. Anybody ever seen this before? I really doubt it's a fake, I bought it at a major national retailer, but the way my mind is I need to hear it lol. Possibly an older one that has been sitting and waiting for me to buy it? Or a new one that hasn't had it's picture posted online anywhere? Thanks for all of your help guys! I'll add that I have emailed benchmade, just waiting on a response.
