Hi all. I've been lurking around the Exchange for a while (and even bought a knife from someone), but this is the first time I've posted anything.
TRM had a drop last week on a new batch of Atoms, and I was fortunate enough to score exactly what I was after- an Atom in OD micarta (middle knife in the pic below). It arrived today, and it is a *really* sweet knife! Prior to this might favorites had included a Benchmade 940 and my perennial favorite, a modified Spyderco Manix 2 in red G10. I think the Atom has taken first pocket. It's light, it's the right size and it flicks open smooth and fast. And it's sharper than any other knife I've had (as new from the factory, that is).
Anyway, hello! I'm enjoying reading lots of info on knives, collecting, EDC, real life usage (I'm glad to see that people actually *use* their knives), and lots of other good stuff. I look forward to learning more.
