Hi all

I am expecting a nkonka very soon and just wondering exactly what the facets on the blade are ??

Thanks in advance
Brendan

I think you are refering to the facets on the spine of the blade.

It is pretty simple really.

The spine is not flat or rounded, like those on most knives.
There is a grind on either side, about 45 degrees, that brings the spine to a center line peak. This starts just in front of the guard and goes all the way to the tip.

Nice choice on the Nkonka. I've got one, and I think it is some of Chris' best work. Right size, good blade shape and geometry. . . .
(Oh, and the sheath is pretty cool too.)

I hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine.
