I somewhat recently acquired a Nkonka made of cpm3V numbered 158, out of I am not sure what, I hear its 200. Anyway its signed and dated on teh blade by chris, not with a marker but hand engraved. I was wondering how much it would be worth, not looking to sell so much as curious as to what i have.

methinks it was a limited run of that steel.

I dont know about any difference in the price though, I think it was a test.

The NKONKA, in CPM-3V tool steel, is indeed a closed end run.

I believe they will stop at 199/200 knives. Currently they are shipping at around #180 (I think).

The retail price for a new one is $495.00.

Well, so much for the "they'll make more, no hurry about this first run" attitude. I don't SEE any more 3v's coming down the pike. Do you?

This is kind of annoying. I wish knife makers would just make the things without all this limited edition dodge.

PS they are EXCELLENT pieces. Even at MSRP they are well worth it. :thumbup:
