Nuclear Meltdown ?

What is done to a blade to make it "NM" ?

I just got a Custom Shop NMSFNO from the Ganza, and I don't have a regular SFNO to compare it to.

Whatever it is,I like this knife a lot...can't wait to chop something down with it.

Noob question that has been bugging me for quite a while,so I will take the flames if it means I can find out what it is.:D

Rounded edges =NM, kind of like when a 1911 gets the "melted" treatment

Nuclear Meltdown means the round all of the edges and create a "ball bearing" finish.

Nuclear Metdowns are usually longer than their normal run too (8in NMSFNO, 7"SFNO)

The NMSFNO is a great knife, plus it's custom shop

Nice score

So the ball bearing finish takes away the grind marks like the ones on my HOGFSH,how do they do this ?

I thought my HOGFSH felt good in my hand, until this I felt this one.

All I need to do now is find a MOASH and I will be done buying Busse's...I hope:eek:

This Busse habit is expensive..LOL

welcome aboard and you will never, get done buying Busse knives...
