I purchased a NMFBM sage .28 thick G10 machine magnum tequilla sunrise handle for xmas. I used it for about an hour cutting 4 inch logs for my chimney. I also took out my BWM and cut a few branches for the kindle. I didn't realize how much lighter the BWM was until I held the NMFBM. After beating up on the NMFBM I had two major blister on my hand. I had used gloves, but realized it was mostly caused by the grooves in the machine magnum handles. After reviewing a few forums on sanding down handles, I took the plunge and used a 100 grit on my handle. I also to took the precautionary step to wear a mask. After a total of half an hour with 100 grit, then 120 and finally with 600, I was able to smooth out the grooves and make the machine feel and look more like a smooth magnum handle. It was easier than I thought.
Anyway, I have two of the best Big Busse blades you can own along with the SAR 3 EDC. I think my collection of Busse users will suffice for a while. Happy new year to all and sorry for not posting pictures.
