So a new community center opened up in our neighborhood, and I decided to take my four-year-old down to shoot some hoops. Mind you, it's been a while since I've played much basketball.
I retrieved my old b-ball shoes from the attic, pumped up a ball, and we headed out. Had a lot of fun playing with my son, but after about 15 minutes of shooting and running, I started noticing little white specs of plastic/rubber on the court. Next thing I knew, my shoe exploded. Entire sole came off. Flat tire in the worst way. Upon inspection, the other sole was about to peel as well.
Not to waste an opportunity, and since no one ever actually coughed up the $20K for my NMFBM LE, I decided to put the Air Forces down. May they rest in peace.
Godspeed Air Forces!
