I just received my NMFBMLE (THANKS VOXHOG for such a perfect blade…oh and the Busse crew). Anyhow, I wanted to post a few quick pictures of it to show my appreciation. I took it out next to my FBMLE and I really don’t know which one is my favorite. The NMFBMLE is AWESOME but there is something about the FBMLE…to me they really are two completely different beasts. The NMFBMLE has such a blade heavy balance it feels like it will chop for you. Here are the pictures I just took real quick.

Umm, why are they just laying there and not chopping down trees??

Whatever the reason they sure look good just laying there.

Those two look fantastic together! Definitely a different feel between the two of them so I'm glad that you have both. The FBMLE is sexy (especially the swedge) and the NMFBMLE is smooth and powerful. A great duo. :D
 
Good God! You have one scary duo buddy. Enjoy taking down whatever comes in your path.

I think they are wow knives also. Busse makes some fine knives.

I am glad I have both also!! Thanks again for all of your help. I could not have asked for a smoother transaction. The pleasure was mine.

Just unpacked mine - chopped a few branches, wiped off, and a few quick photos:

Now to sharpen it proper and head out into the woods!
 
I would kill for a NMFBMLE, or even a CG with a good convex is fine.

My FBMLE with the hand convex and smoothed grips does just fine, But I would really like to try out the longer thinner NM version for kicks.
 
I'm just the opposite of you BFt, I've got a NMFBMLE and I'd like to try out a FBMLE. Perhaps we should get together. In any case, they're both great blades!
 
That DEUCE cant be used. That is a safe queen!! If I had a #2 LE I would put a bubble around it and buy a CG to chop with!!
