Just wondering if anyone else who ordered NMFBMs are doing size comparisons.. I don't have a mic.. don't have to on this one.. just looking there is a big difference.. but I do have a scale.. My first NMFBM (canvas black on Green)that came about 2 weeks ago weighs in a 28.2 ounces and is fairly slim looking when looking at the spine.. My other one that came yesterday is 35.4 ounces and is a monster in comparision... looking down it has to be bigger than .25.. (Black G10 on green) I know the G10 could not weigh that much more, but holding the two together... you can feel a big difference.. will take pics later, but had to ask this.. Yes, I think they are both an incredible knife. Will York, called it.. these are truly an awesome Busse knife(did you notice any differences in blade width amongst your SEVENTEEN>>> NMFBMs?? )
by the way Jaxx, the doctor said I did need to cut back on the caffine! maybe the 15ounce cup will do :-)

OK> READ the other threads before posting.. I just read Quick Draw's thread " It looks thicker and feels heavier" Same topic..

Yeah, there are large differences in thickness. That has been my experience with previous Busse models, as well.

I think Jerry just treat you with a special edition NMFBM.....spit it, what did you offer to Jerry?

All of my CG's mic'd out between .247 and .253. LE's from .273 to .278. So not that big a difference within the same model on mine, but I've heard of some examples that have ranged more widely.

Just out of my curiosity, are they hand made/ hand shaped or machine made
I do know Busse is consider a production company, but the small differenced usually happen to products that are made by hand. If that is the case, i'll give each knife much more credit.

:D:D:D ;) ...As I sit here reading and... You guessed it... Drinking coffee! :D

I haven't received my CG's yet. They should by in house by the end of next week after I pay for 'em on Mon. or Tue. :) ...But I'll have to check & see about this now that I'm really curious!

I received two NMFBM-Cg's that each measure .25 and weight 30-oz. The extra length and weight up front would seem to give them a slight advantage as choppers over the FBM-CG series but I haven't tried them out yet.

I see in another post it look's like some CG NMFBMs may have possibly been made from LE stock as they are thicker and heavier than usual.

There is another FBM in the electronics industry, Floating Body Memory.

Finally added some pics to this thread I forgot about.. wonder if the NMSFNO's might also differ in width? I want a THICK ONE!

I only have one NMFBM so I can not compare but I did post a thread the other day about my two CG ASH-1's one is 1/16th of an inch thicker and several ounces heavier, so it is like I have two different knives because they feel so different.
