Well its been quite sometime but back when I get my NMFSH a fella asked me how I carried it and when I was out hiking on the mountain I finally remembered and had a camera.
The sheath is a finely crafted kydex from Buy Brown with an open spine style to it. Which makes sliding it out a tad easier since it good sized knife.

It rides a little high but for me its really not bothersome for hiking around and doing camp chores for fire prep.

Here you can see how it slides forward and then out easier.

And out an ready I usually then rotate the knife in my hand and I'm ready to chop. You can draw the knife the other way but it makes it a little harder since it rides higher.

Hope this helps or is at least interesting for those maybe needing some pants for the NMFSH.
And once again this is a Buy Brown kydex sheath. Thanks again BB!

Here are some other pics of the Busse and Kin used during the day.

Great pics, the NMFSH is one of my favorites for sure. I've got a leather sheath from Mikey Moto for mine. But that kydex looks cool !!

Thanks guys n gals. Yeah the open spine features really make it nice for drawing it out of the sheath.

I might get one like that for my ASHBM too.

Nice sheath! BB makes some nice ones for sure. I love open spined sheaths now that I have a couple.

Thanks Highrisk. It's my favorite set up for hanging pots and or SS bottles for boiling water. Usually the stake that gets hammered into the ground requires a Y in it but instead of bothering to look for one I just carry a 16 penny nail with me and make my own Y:D

I use a pair of fish spreaders that open up into the inside of the canteens and that holds them.
I'll try and remember to take some pictures of that next time I'm out.

Haha yeah that was my first time trying it. And it was goooooood.

...you guys got separate tents/ hammocks.... Right....... Cause I can guess what jalapeño spam, or jalapeño anything would do to my insides..... And to anyone within 10 yards of me:eek:

I....am.....sooooo.....busted!...... Actually, not quite. It isn't drug related either..... Long story, but it's related to the first online game that I played, back in 2000. I've kept my gaming name since..... Noxious Fumes: as in "I stink at this game".....

Haha yeah that with the pork and beans didn't do either of our air quality any favors. Needless to say between the aftermath of that meal and the cigars there weren't any bug problems. :D
