NMSFNO back from the spa (pic heavy)

I picked up a good user NMSFNO from =MAX= a while back. The coating was pretty worn from some good lovin'. You may recognize the first couple of photos as I stole them from some of =MAX='s old posts.

I had seen some of the "How to strip you Busse" posts and thought I would give it a try. The blade under the coating had some decarb that would rust whenever i used it and a couple of beauty marks.

I took it with me to Blade in Atlanta, while I was there I had Garth take a look at it and he said to send it to him and they would clean it up and re-logo it. I must say I was pleased when I opened the box and unwrapped it today. My only worry now though is it might be too pretty to beat on.............

It's bitter sweet. It went from so ugly its pretty. To so shinny it's beautiful! Either way its hot! Love it. :)
 
I wanted to snag that when he sold it! I kept looking at it... Looks like it's in good hands now. Congrats on the spa job. She's a looker. Maybe I should send in my NMFBM that I stripped.
 
Dang that looks good. Now I want to send my FBM CBT in for a spa treatment...
 
Beautiful! At first I was wanting a Busse set in sage / sand but I've basically decided such beautiful INFI steel needs to be in satin/competition finish. I'd still be leaning on an earth tone for the handle, though...

That is one sexy knife! That's the problem with the Shop......their work it TOO good!



On a side note......where did you get that bacon!?
 
Beautiful!!! It needs to get all scratched and dirty now. Take it outside and show it some love :)
 
That's come up a treat. I agree with Rob - go mess it up so it can be sent back to the spa again.

The Bacon is from whole foods, they have some incredible bacon and a huge selection in the meat area, pretty sure it was over 1/4" thick :thumbup::thumbup:.
