Wow. Runnin a close second to green/black. I love green/black. This is hte same color "value" but in a gray.
Lunde - what's it feel like? Sandy like the sage and tan, very crinkly like the black or almost slippery like green? (Shocking how the colors have a differnet feel to them.)
Sort of what you would get if one were to desaturate the Green.Runnin a close second to green/black. I love green/black. This is the same color "value" but in a gray.
As Lil' Foo indicated, it feels like the Green. It is not too crinkly, like the Black, and not too shiny, like Urban Gray. Up until now, Green has been my favorite blade coating, with Sage as a close second. Tanker Gray might equal or surpass Green, at least for me.What's it feel like? Prediction: The Busse Company Store will see a sudden influx in Tanker Gray NMSFNO sales tonight.![]()
good call! thanks :thumbup:I just ordered two, which took the "NMSFNO - Tanker gray with black machined micarta" (item 19TGB) down to "No Stock". I hoped that they'd hold out until after Knob Creek; I wanted to hold the funds and keep a couple Tanker NMSFNOs in mind as a fallback (in case nothing caught my eye at KC -- figure the odds), but the low store inventory has forced my hand. I received a couple NMSFNOs from the company store last week, and have been VERY happy with them.
