Black micarta would be my choice to go with the Tanker Grey as well:thumbup:

The three coated combo's I do like are Tan/Tan, Green/Black micarta, and now the Tanker Grey/Black combo.

Prediction: The Busse Company Store will see a sudden influx in Tanker Gray NMSFNO sales tonight.:D

Great pictures! Like usual.:D:thumbup:

Thank you for the pics. Your knife pages are my favorite, 'cause it's a lot cheaper to look at them than buy them.

Wow. Runnin a close second to green/black. I love green/black. This is hte same color "value" but in a gray.

Lunde - what's it feel like? Sandy like the sage and tan, very crinkly like the black or almost slippery like green? (Shocking how the colors have a differnet feel to them.)

That's a great looking blade/scale combo. Let's hope the lighter Urban Grey is dead and the Tanker Grey takes over as a standard offering. (I always spell grey with an "e" for some reason. It's ingrained in me...)

Feels just like the olive drab coat to me.

Great pics Ken... you've captured the color perfectly!

.

As always Ken,,,,,,,,, fantastic pics . Spitting image of my black/sage,,,, just a hint darker blade. and Dennis my sage feels rather smooth,,,, not gritty

Dennis in MA, you wrote:

Sort of what you would get if one were to desaturate the Green.

As Lil' Foo indicated, it feels like the Green. It is not too crinkly, like the Black, and not too shiny, like Urban Gray. Up until now, Green has been my favorite blade coating, with Sage as a close second. Tanker Gray might equal or surpass Green, at least for me.

thanks ken, and i'm about tied between tanker and sage at this point. i bought a tanker for myself and it's getting some kydex right now. tanker and black micarta is cool

Thanks for the pics Ken!!! That G-Grey is really nice. I now think I screwed up by not getting it. Oh well next offering.

Don't look now, but they just went to "low inventory".

Then again, a few days ago they were listed as "No Stock" for awhile and then came back.

+1 Ken, you do consistently great photography.

I just ordered two, which took the "NMSFNO - Tanker gray with black machined micarta" (item 19TGB) down to "No Stock". I hoped that they'd hold out until after Knob Creek; I wanted to hold the funds and keep a couple Tanker NMSFNOs in mind as a fallback (in case nothing caught my eye at KC -- figure the odds), but the low store inventory has forced my hand. I received a couple NMSFNOs from the company store last week, and have been VERY happy with them.

I got my order in for a tanker gray/black micarta as well. Thanks for the pics Ken!

They do look nice! I went with the sage/ black combo and thankfully I'm still happy with my descision.:D

This is my first Busse and I've got high hopes for it. I'm guessing it will be arriving today or tomorrow.
