I think you'll enjoy it.

Yep. I've done a bit of whittling with it, on some fairly hard wood, and I still can't feel any slack in the joints.

Wow! Thats the same knife? You sure use your knives to their utmost!

Yep, turquoise jigged bone Executive Whittler. Not serialized, though.

This is great! How long have you been using this knife? It looks like you've got some great use out of it!

I dunno, a year or two I guess. They patina pretty fast when you do lawn irrigation system tune-ups in the 100°+ Kansas summers. Okay, they rust and when you scrape that off, it leaves what you see. I don't buy 'em to look at.

I'm with you on that, I only have 1 rule with my knives, I've gotta use every single one I own. I wish I had a job that let me use my knife more often, but instead I get to sit in a nice air conditioned sun protected office and stare at a screen all day, its terrible, give me sweat and sun anyday!

They look great. I've always loved the long slender profile of the #89s and hope to acquire one. I'm a pretty sorry whittler so I dunno if I'm worthy of a "whittling knife" but I love the looks.
