No 0550 and cheated out of $200 to boot

So i got a chance to handle a zt 0550 for the first time a couple weeks ago and instantly fell in love (though i only got to touch it for a short time before i started bleeding all over it and the owner snapped it back . . . whoops). Before then i thought i would never want a zero tolerance knife. I just wasn't in to the whole 'tactical' look and didn't see the need for such a beefy folding knife. But something about the hinderer design did it for me. It was elegant in its own way and was the only $200 knife i've ever met that i could actually see myself using. So i order it online from an amazon seller. yesterday night rolls around and i get a heavy package in the mail. I open it with great anticipation only to find that its a 0350. not only that but a used 0350. nothing against the knife but when you're expecting a hinderer design it's definitely a letdown. I contacted the seller but long story short he's accusing me of being a scammer and i don't think i'm going to get my knife or my money without a real fight. So yeah, theres not much point to this post, just wanted to tell you how miserable it is to go to sleep every night thinking about the 0550 you saved up for and spent all your money on and not know if you'll ever actually get it.
 
Contact Amazon. They take that stuff super super serious. I wouldn't be surprised if Amazon refunded you the money directly.

I would also leave negative feedback for the seller. I did that once on a knife purchase and I got a phone call from the owner of the company the next day asking what he needed to do to make me remove the feedback.

Agreed.

I've had people jack up a order and was refunded over the phone and they paid for return shipping.
 
I've got a thread going in the good bad and ugly forum, i was really just looking for some ZT love over here.
 
I just posted in your feedback thread, I've had dealings with that particular Amazon seller before.
 
Im feeling your pain. I hope you get your money back and this seller is banned from Amazon.

I too feel your anguish. At least it's Amazon where you stand a chance of getting restitution. If it was the "bay" and Paypal you'd be sitting with an overpriced 350.
 
Wow that sucks super bad! Been disappointed with a few things I've been getting in the mail lately, makes me rethink about just buying from the nearest store directly, ya it may be a bit more but I'll have it in hand to examin and exchange if needed.
 
Why is this thread here? You're talking about a buying experience / problem you are dealing with. This is has nothing to do with Kershaw / ZT. Keep these kinds of threads in Feedback please. Closing this one.
