A guy at work has been giving me sheds of Iowa deer for years and last year took a Big One. He was so excited he finally decided to see about having a knife made from the antlers. Here it is.

Overall Lenghth: 9 5/8"
Blade Length: 4 3/8"
Blade: O1, Differentially hardened, Sub Zero (dry ice/acetone) Quench, a touch of filework
Guard: 416 SS
Handle: Iowa Stag with some spacers

Hope you like it! As always, I'm glad it's done... :D

Great work Dave! Very nice - no really - very nice package.

Love the blade finish - wish I could do that. Is that a new logo? classy!

Steve

Dave, you're inspiring me to go dig through my antler box!

Very nice design, I like how it all flows.

Folks, I got to look over some of Dave's work in Atlanta and it's top-notch. You sometimes dread looking at a fella's work you haven't seen before....because it can be a let-down. But not Dave's...it's very clean and well executed. Nice thin, SHARP edges :)

And I've got to figure out how he shapes his guards that way!

Just like Nick said, Dave's work is top notch, clean and beautifully executed! I really like the stag on this one but the blade perfectly complements it. Way to go Dave!

As Monte Burns would say Exxxxcelent.Love the blade. Is that antley buffed of coated with something to get the shine.

That stuff makes you feel good, nice way to go bed. Thanks everybody. :D Reg it's just buffed with pink compound.

Dave

Dave, you deserve a good night's rest after that one. Tell the Wife she should give you a back scratch'n.

Really great work Pal.

Dave, you rascal, you have done it again! Really great, guy! Those guys are right about your knives. The ones you brought here were really great, too! Jeanie is going to give you a footrub AND a backscratch, right? You ought to sleep like a baby, fella.

Hi Dave,
I a great knife. It looks very well finalized and perfect. Still the main point (if we only think about the picture) is that it is very nice balanced. The curves are what a eye hopes for a nice knife. Also materials are carefully thought.

Way cool, the stag looks great and the whole knife has a well porportioned flow to it, looks comfortable in the hand too.
