NO and Leatherman Wave: A good combo?

I got great help from you all on my last thread so I thought I might just throw in another question or two.
I think I'm going to order a Natural Outlaw as soon as I can afford it, but still I have a couple of questions.
Would my Leatherman Wave in the sheath pouch (if it fitts in there?) give me a good combo; the NO for most of the tasks and the Wave for the tiny fine tasks?
Do any you know how much a 3/16" NO will cost me ordered from the bussecombat web-site?

Thanks!

Lars

Lars,
Glad we could be some help last time :D:D

I think the Leatherman Wave and the NO would be a great combo. I personally like the SuperTool better but that is just personal preference. :D

The Production NO is only available in 1/4" stock. I imagine you could try to special order one in 3/16" but it would have to come from the custom shop and would require much more of a wait.

Lars,
Find a 3/16 Zero Tolerance Natural Outlaw.
The company says four hundred were made.;)
I like mine, and have seen them in the for sale forum.

Larsy,
My Leatherman Original fits in the pouch. I'm not familar
with the Wave, hope that helps some.
I agree with Andre, if you want the 3/16th keep an eye out
for a ZT NO. Or you could try the Knives wanted forum and try
to find a ZT NO.
Good luck in your quest!!:)

I have a Steelheart, whose sheath pouch fits my SOG Powerlock nicely. It is an excellent idea, and a great combination.

Now for the dumb question::rolleyes:
What does Zero Tolerance mean - when applied to the Natural Outlaw???
Am I correct in assuming a zero edge?
OK 2 dumb questions...
Is a zero edge a "shoulderless" finer edge?

Thanks, and sorry to divert your thread...
Rob:confused:

Bobby B,
The ZT NO is a Zero Edge Symmetrically convex 3/16" Satin finish, with tan handles limited run of 400 NO ;):D

I hope that helps.

Eric steals my lines again.

Though the thinner 3/16th has it's place, A NO in 1/4" along with something else to slice with is a fine choice. I think that the 3/16th make s for a faster fighter and slimmer slicer. If Prying, chopping, digging and other Busse-like stuff will be the order of the day, then the 1/4" is probably better and definately feels better.

For what's it's worth, I always thought that 1/4" was fine until I held a man's 5/16" SH Steel Heart. WOW, that's a knife.

Thanks for all the replies! Love the satin finish of the NO ZT, but I think the NO CG fits my wallet better (With only 400 made I guess I'm not the only one looking for such a beautiful knife). And it's really the functionallity of the knife I'm looking for. That I love the looks of the NO comes more as a bonus. The NO will be the first Busse I buy, and if it'll perform as you all say, i doubt it'll be the last! :)
