No Buck USA on Kalinga Blade

I bought this a while back and just got around to getting pics. It's an auction purchase that several of us here jumped on, I believe. Folding Kalinga. The blade has no stamps, other than the model number and date code. These are supposed to have Buck USA on the blade near the thumb stud. Just thought it was strange. Tack on the fact that Mitch W. got one of these with a Tommy Hilfiger snap on the sheath and you've got some goofiness going on!

Or maybe they just let it go anyways knowing it would only make collecting more interesting.....
If everything from Buck was perfect and clearly defined, collecting them wouldn't be half as fun.
Knowing oddities are out there is what makes me look at every single Buck knife when I'm at a show, wether I need that particular knife or not....
