No Cold Steel at Bladeshow?

Reading through the new Blade magazine I noticed that Cold Steel does not have a table at the show...Seemed a little odd to me.

FYI, Cold Steel has never participated in the Blade Show. They choose not to participate. Please be careful before you declare a company is on the decline without all the facts, as your previous post implies.

David, I think your facts need some checking - Cold Steel has participated in the Blade Show before. Heck, one of their guys gave me a t-shirt there either last year or the year before.

They were there in 1999. The last year I went. Well, there were 2 guys with only Cold Steel stuff, so I'm guessing it was an authorizied Cold Steel booth. Lynn Thompson was there also.

Cold Steel has been present at all of the Blade Shows since they moved to Atlanta EXCEPT for last year (2000) and I guess it looks like they are not going to show up this year, either... a shame.

From what I have read on BFC it seems maybe cold steel is losing touch with it's customers?

reclusive, withdrawn, solitary, isolated= not taking part in the forums and not going to the blade show.

I NEVER said or even hinted that C/S were in a decline or doing badly. If I am goint to say that, I will.

I cheerfully stand corrected! I knew they were not at the last 2 shows and had remembered incorrectly about the 2 previous years. These are the ones I have attended. I still don't think there is any signigance to that, other than the fact that they are missing out on a good time
