No Country For Old Men Knife

Watched the movie rerun the other night and just wondered if anyone knows what the hunter used to open the air conditioning duct grill to hide all his money? It did a great job of turning the screws on the access panel.

It looks like the flathead/bottle opener on a SAK style knife.

That would be a MIL-K-818 ( often called the demo knife because they were most issued to combat engineers who specializes in demolition )

I'd say a typical Scout pattern. I have an Imperial that looks a lot like it. Big spear blade and full size screw driver and cap lifted. In carbon steel it's a great knife.

These days, unless you can somehow get one of the older, USA-made Camillus demo knives, someone would be better off getting an Alox Victorinox Pioneer. Same basic tool setup and rugged as heck.
