I got an angle grinder to help me make knife steel look more like knives....

Also got a drill press, so I can drill holes in stuff..... like pin stock holes...etc.

Might help with my sheath work too. I've just punched them all by hand till now.

A set of bits for hard steel.

You hold on to the white round handle and burnish your edges with the other end. The individual leather spacers are replaceable. Just unscrew the fastener on the end and there ya go,.:)

Nice present. Good job.

Lol , I knew I was looking at this all wrong :-)

Thank you :-) can’t wait to give it a go

Thank you, it’s a 32oz BK :-) :-)

Lol I’ll bet it would be a interesting burnisher :-)

Got a Forsken mistress headed my way, can’t wait to baton that beast :-) But I’ve got a nice cedar log for that :-)

Very nice congrats on the new tools !!

I haven’t tried my hand at knife making and don’t think I will, at least not now.
I’ve been looking at WEN drill presses. I also work on my muscle cars and friends old cars. I hate buying metal cutting drill bits lol, they never seem to last.

Very nice maul! We have that very one, its my wife's favorite for tooling.

Good deal. BK makes some of the best stamps too. We have quite a few and are really the only bevellers we use. Nichole's first attempt at a wild rose pattern on this pair of shotgun chaps we finished right before Christmas.

Nice! Me=jealous. I'd like to get one of those...but every time I look at them I get confused on how to know which one (weight wise) I'd prefer. So I never end up getting one at all.

I do have a couple of BK stamps in my tool box. Worth every penny. I could (should) have a lot more of them, for all the money I've wasted on some of the cheapo stamps that don't work worth a hill of beans.

Wow those came out really nice !!!!
I haven’t gotten any BK stamps yet. I did purchase a couple of James Linnell stamps and some Tandy pro ones. I aimed for what I thought (hope lol) are basic starters.

Two pounder like this is probably right for ya Amy. Nichole started with a one pounder and then switched to the two pounder. The one pounder just isn't enough ommph. In fact she has two one pounders sitting on her workbench that she hardly ever touches.

Thanks, Dave--good to know; that really helps remove my indecision.
