No Drop Point 110's?

Just in case of a miracle I checked the Custom Shop for a DP 112...No but then I checked the 110 and none were offered either! Did NOT expect that..

They appear to be transitioning from S30V to S35VN in the Custom shop. I've seen some blades disappear then return in the new steel. The 110 DP was S30V. It better return (and still with no nail nick). The question I've been asking is will it be S35VN or Magnacut.

Please consider a Super steel DP for the 112.. I'm willing to pay well for S35-VN and even more for Magnacut. At the MSRP for a Custom shop 112 now we should be able to order the blade we want..

I don't have any Buck knives in S35VN, but I do have some CRKs & Hinderers in that steel. For me, it has just the right combination of edge holding & toughness. Plus it's easy enough to keep sharp on a plain old Spyderco Sharpmaker. Then I got two Magnacut knives from Buck. Magnacut seems to take what I've always liked about S35VN, and made it even better.

All you need is a Take Apart Aluminum knife and a Selector blade.

The droppoint blade in the custom shop did not have a nail nick. I prefer that because it's super easy to clean. I think it should be an option though, why not, good idea!

Thanks. That was a Club knife offered at the 2018 Reunion. I think they made around 100 pcs.
