No fishing today

My daughter and I planed to go fishing today. Had a good breakfast, packed a lunch, packed up all our fishing gear, loaded the van up, and off we went. Made it about 300 ft. and the van died..... AAHHHHH are you kidding me. Checked it out cant find anything obvious, so AAA came to get it. I hate vehicle problems. :grumpy:

So no fishing today and we were going to slay them I just know it.

The walleye run here in Ohio hasn't been too successful yet, from what I have heard. The water is too high to wade out still. Although I haven't been out myself for various reasons.

You'll get out there, and when you do, I hope you slay em.

That's is sad. I hope nothing too expensive is wrong with the van, and next time I believe you will slay them!

Thanks everyone for the nice words. Still don't know whats up with the van; fingers crossed.

We did manage to get out (took my wifes car) late Saturday night, for only two hours, did not even get a bite. I had hoped to fish between 10am - 3pm, in between two weather fronts. Instead we fished from 7-9pm and all the fish were full, not even a nibble.
