Well, we are up in South Tahoe with the kids at my in laws place like we are every Thanksgiving weekend. I've already been missing my shop for the last day or so, and we were supposed be headed home, but a snow storm has hit harder than expected and we are here at least another day or so. I barely made it down into town for supplies this morning and it's getting heavier. Thank god for a good internet connection I can still get a little fix here on the forums! Good times....

I was sure to stock up on provisions.......:D

We were in Nevada City for a little while on T-Day, and got up to the snow for a little bit. We drove home yesterday before the storm came in.

If you want to forward me your keys, I'll be happy to check on your place for you, and make sure your knives are all warm and well fed - er, *ahem* I mean your dog & other pets are warm & well fed, yeah, that's it. :D :p

Good luck up there, be careful, and enjoy all that snow.

Glad you made it back home to sunny Concord, Orca:D Umm, I think my stuff will be fine, especially the ZT 0550 that might be sittin' on my porch! Thanks for the offer, buddy......but um, don't go outta your way;)

Dang! :D I get at least a B- for effort.

We're hovering in the forties here (no, not the malt liquor kind ;)) and we're wishing for some lower snow. Mt. Diablo may get dusted, but I think we're going to have to head up to the snow parks soon.

Again, you folks be careful up there. Can't be losin' our Kershaw connection in some random snow bank. That just wouldn't be proper.

~Chris

ps - great pics, by the way.

What you recieve we get 2 days later. Nothing has been getting done around here for two weeks as all my efforts have been on snow removal and trying to pack the trails.

By the time I get most of the snow work done, then we get another dump of snow.

Keep the storms coming, as we really need the snow after the dry summer, and lack of snow last season.

jonnymac44, this looks like one of those "Toss another log on the fire, tilt the recliner back, & football, beer, & knives the rest of the day". I love this type of weather, but in Ohio it is usually a once every 3 or 4 year type event. Enjoy, I am sure orca8589 will keep your place under very tight scrunity, uh, I mean security . . . :)
Enjoy the snow. .
Be safe.

We got almost 5' here on the west side of I-80 at 4000'. Been 6 years since we got hit so hard in Nov. Hey Johhnymac you didn't stop by on your way up the hill. Went right by us.:D Boy are the ski resorts happy. Great for their economy.
Me, I'm tired of shoveling, trying to get my truck undercover. Come Dec 28th off to sunny AZ.
