I just took a look at the recurve fighter and I decided that I like it more. It has a false edge too! and serrations. I know I'll be happier if I just wait rather than dig further into my already depleted funds. ;)
 
The recurve fighter is nice but think of the hell razor as a cross between an NO and an SJTAC. But with the grooves. Anyway, since the store will undoubtedly get a bunch, you will have a second chance:thumbup:

There comes to a point where every man has to draw the line somewhere, and mine is drawn. And there's really no way I can get one if I have any chance of getting an FBM which will probably be up in a month or so.
NO REGRETS!

FBM, FBM....................dammit, you guys are always talkin' about her and I'm afraid it's gonna convince me that I need one. I'm still waitin' on a FSH to come back to the store, man am I behind.;)
 
Walking Man no, no, no don't turn your back on the hell razor. You'll be tormented and burned by regrets.... It's history being made. Corrugated history. You know how you love historical blades. You could always sell one of those little fat guys - heh heh - if you do I call dibs :D

Seriously, Jerry mentioned in a thread somewhere that he hoped to have the FBM up by the end of the year.

Nah, I'd rather have the recurve. MMMMM, serrations......... AND it will be lighter and even more stabby than the HR.
To sum it up, it's got 4 advantages over the HR, in my opinion 1)lighter 2)more stabby 3)serrations 4) recurve
For those of you who would ask how do I know it's going to be lighter, the answer is I really don't, BUT it has a full grind, whereas the HR has a saber or something grind that doesn't go all the way across.
 
Where did you see the recurve fighter? It sounds like something I'd be VERY interested in. I've even thought of reprofiling my NO-E for a bit of a recurve, much better for the way I'd use it against zombies. I also am a fan of some serrations. I know they are frowned upon by most knife snobs, but for what I use the blade for 90% of the time serrations do the work fastest.
Please point me towards some specs or photos.
