No jimping?

I noticed the leafjumper has no jimping on the hump of the blade. The knife still interests me a bit but is it weird not having it? I think Seki City does jimping extremely well it's always grippy but never sharp, and in a way reminds me of the side of a coin. It almost seems like a waste it was omitted from this knife. Any ideas why?

I also just remembered the stainless police models don't seem to have jimping either. Seems like it would be helpful on an already more slippery handled knife to me.

Late to the party on the jumper series, but really like the handle configuration. I bought back ups.

Oddly, the current stainless Police PE version does not have jimping on the blade hump, but the SE does.

Speaking of jimping why did you guys put jimping in the handle area of the Manix 2 XL?

The original large Manix didn’t have it nor did it need it.
I have one Manix 2 XL, and the jimping is one reason I like it (the handle shape is nice too). People's preferences sure vary. :)
