I need to send this 120 in for an overhaul. Its been abused badly. There is a slight separation on the guard. The spine has been ground by a power tool and scratches galore. The pictures don't do it justice. I don't expect it to look new but is it worth sending in?

I agree with DM to send it in. But you must post after pictures for us to enjoy. Lots of folks here are fond of the General.

I will do the before and after photos! Thanks for the kind words David. Gods beauty comes in all forms.

I hope they can help you Doug. I have a inverted 3 line 105 there right now that I thought would be no issue. However, Joe spotted a hairline crack in the handle that I didnt even realize was there. He said they generally dont rehandle 100 series because it is easier to produce a new knife and even if they did I would loose the original spacers. Im sure they can get it looking very good but you may have to deal with the separation.
